I Am an immigrant
The "I am an Immigrant" is a musical performance with Seeds of Peace and Pihcintu, the multinational children's choir. The music chosen for the project (including a variation on "America the Beautiful" written by Noel Paul Stookey from Peter, Paul, and Mary) has a focus on the importance and power of immigrants in the United States. The performance hopes to build awareness of the common connection and duties United States citizens all share as immigrants or descendants of immigrants.
Maine Seeds will be meeting weekly this summer to work on this project.

votech/paths students will visit camp
Every year, before camp starts, students in vocational and technical high schools in Dexter, Maine have come to Camp to help rebuild various parts of Camp that need fixing or mending.
This year, however, the vocational and technical students from Dexter and PATHS will not only be coming to fix up camp. They will be staying for three nights, from June 11th-June 14th. They will be sleeping at the camp, fixing up the camp during the day, and then at night they will participate in dialogue sessions facilitated by former Maine Seeds. Our goal is to involve the vocational and technical students who help make our camp so wonderful in the Camp experience in a way that allows them to explore some of the same issues our Maine Seeds look at in their dialogue sessions at Camp.
